First
Visit
Your initial visit is probably the most important
appointment you will have with Dr. Greenstein. The first visit begins with an
in-depth one-on-one consultation with the doctor. The consultation is the
gathering of important information about your current and past health history.
Your current and past health history may have a direct or indirect correlation
to your primary and secondary health problems. Copies of previous medical
records, such as laboratory reports, and in particular, x-rays, MRI and CAT scan
films with the radiologist's report, can provide valuable information about your
health.
Following the consultation is the physical examination. The physical assessment
is an extension of the consultation. Dr. Greenstein will better understand the nature of your problems
with the physical examination.
When finished with the physical assessment, Dr. Greenstein will explain
the results and ramifications of the physical examination findings. He may
recommend diagnostic imaging such as x-rays, MRI or a CAT scan. He may
also recommend specific laboratory tests using blood, urine, saliva or hair.
Depending on the nature of your problems, treatment may start immediately
following the physical examination.
